Q. I want to become a professional, what are my options?

A. There are 2 major categories in the professional ranks, the Club Professional and the Tour Professional. The Club Professional normally works in a Club on a full time basis, where a Tour Professional is primarily a professional golf player.

Q. Am I working as an independant or as an employee?

A. In 98% of the cases you will be working as an independant. It is therefore important for you to get a VAT number, nowadays called "ondernemingsnummer" or "numéro d'entreprise".
